Terms of Service

Ixonix is a custom app development service by Ximplex, operated from Costa Rica. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ximplex. "You" means the person or business we build for. You can reach us anytime at support@ximplex.app.

We design, build and launch custom mini-apps that solve one clear problem: apps you sell to your audience, or tools for your own work. After launch, we can keep your app running with an optional care plan.

Marketing is yours. We don't find users or customers for you, and we can't guarantee any number of subscribers, sales, revenue or time saved. Any estimate or calculator we show you is only an example based on your own numbers.

1. You send your idea through our request form.
2. Your project lead reviews it and replies within 24 hours. If it's a good fit, you get a written quote with the scope, price and estimated delivery date.
3. To start, you accept these terms and pay the first 50%.
4. We send you a design sketch of how your app will look. You approve it or request changes.
5. We build your app, test it and launch it on your own domain.
6. You pay the remaining 50% and we hand over your app.

Whenever a step is waiting for your review or approval, the project is paused, and the delivery date moves by the same time. Your project dashboard shows where things stand.

• Your price includes 2 rounds of minor changes to your design sketch: adjustments within the agreed scope, like text, colors, sizes and the order of elements.
• Anything else, such as new features, a different structure or style, or changing work that was already approved or built ("rework"), is outside the scope. It needs a new written agreement with its own price and date, and starts depending on availability.
• Approving the design sketch confirms the design for development.

• Projects start at $2,000. Your quote shows the final price. Once you approve it, the price doesn't change unless you request changes outside the scope.
• You pay 50% to start and 50% at launch, before handover. Prices are in USD.
• We invoice through PayPal or Payoneer. We don't use a third-party reseller for Ixonix projects.
• If a payment is late, work pauses and the delivery date moves.

• Share the content, decisions and approvals we need, on time.
• Create and pay for the accounts your app runs on, in your own name (for example hosting, database, domain, email and, if you sell your app, your own payment provider). We help you set them up.
• Make sure you have the rights to the content you give us.
• Your app must be legal and must follow the rules of the services it uses. We may decline projects that handle highly sensitive data (like health or legal records) or that we believe could harm people.

Once you've paid in full, you own your app: its custom code, design and data. We keep the reusable tools and templates we bring to every project, and you get a permanent, free license to use the parts included in your app. Until full payment, the work remains ours.

• At launch, you have 7 days to review your app against the scope. If we don't hear about a problem, or once you start using it with real users, the work is accepted.
• At handover, we move the code to your account and you remove our access to your accounts. From then on, you're responsible for their security.
• For 30 days after launch, we fix for free any bug that stops your app from working as described in the scope. This doesn't cover new features, changes made by others, or problems with third-party services.

Care plans are optional and start at $29 per month. They cover things like monitoring, backups, security updates and bug fixes, and some plans include hours for small changes. The details of each plan are shown when you choose it. Care plans renew monthly and you can cancel anytime; cancelling stops the next month. Unused hours don't roll over. Bigger changes always get a quote first.

Your app is your business. You're responsible for your app's own terms, privacy policy and refund policy, and for how you treat your users and their data.

We keep your business information private and only use it to build your app. We only show your project in our portfolio with your written permission.

We work hard to deliver great apps, but they're provided "as is", and the services they run on (like hosting or payment providers) can have outages we don't control. To the extent allowed by law, we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Either of us can cancel a project in writing. See our Refund Policy for how payments are handled. We may stop working with anyone who is abusive toward us or who repeatedly breaks these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes don't affect quotes you've already approved. If the changes are important, we'll let you know by email.

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
